Celebrating our Bicentennial / 1820-2020

Our most precious gifts

The most precious gift that God has given us is our children. While they receive our care and love, what they give, even to a whole parish community, is far more important. They show us the very innocence and wonder of God. Our service to our children in handing on to them our faith is the link that builds the Body of Christ, both now and in the future. There is no greater gift that can be given than to teach a child about God's love for them.

Religious Education is the teaching program of the Catholic Church. These classes are taught to school age children (Pre-K through 10th Grade) to learn the basic doctrines of the Church.  These are also years of sacramental preparation for First Reconciliation, First Eucharist and Confirmation. All children need to be enrolled in and regularly attend religious education classes. While parents are a child's primary teacher, our goal is to assist you with your child's faith formation.

Our classes are divided as follows:

  • Pre-K & Kindergarten
  • First year Communion
  • Second year Communion
  • 3rd and 4th graders,
  • 5th and 6th graders
  • 7th and 8th graders
  • First year Confirmation
  • Second year Confirmation

Classroom sizes are 7-15 students per Class, a Catechist and an assistant.

Classes begin on September 20th, 2020 from 11:15am-12:15pm.

This past year (2019-2020) we had 100 kids enrolled in our Faith Formation Program, we are having 20 kids receiving their First Communion on October 3rd, 2020 at 9:00am and 7 young adults receiving their Confirmation on September 27th, 2020 at 10:00am.
